I was born in the 80s. As a toy, He-man was resonant in my childhood until I was five years old or so. Recently watching the new version of Netflix, I didn't feel offended, but I thought there was a focus on the author's version, by artist Kevin Smith. The idea that Eternia would need to be reborn and revise many values ​​led to flop the series, disregarding the opinion of a large audience aside. I think it was a mistake to capitalize on a vision that doesn't yet have as much support.
